Audubon Leads Army Corps of Engineers Tour of Lake Okeechobee

Audubon’s Kelly Cox and Paul Gray, PhD, joined colleagues at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to host Col. Brandon Bowman, District Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville, and several of his senior staff on an airboat tour of Lake Okeechobee on March 6. Audubon appreciates the Corps coming out to learn firsthand about Lake Okeechobee as they continue to work for the health of the system for both birds and people.
