Flipping business fleets to zero emission

[ad_1]

We caught glimpses of the future of clean and green transportation during the 13th annual Green Transportation Summit & Expo — a gathering of hundreds of business leaders, policymakers, innovators, representatives from the EPA and US Department of Energy, and many of us interested in more and better medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.

The expo’s most prominent stars were the various zero-emission vehicles on display and ready for hands-on demonstrations. Check out this gallery of photos below:

Climate Solutions and the Breaking Barriers Collaborative (BBC) were featured prominently at the Green Transportation Summit & Expo (GTSE) earlier this year. Emily Pinckney — our Breaking Barriers Collaborative Program Manager — gave a deeply insightful presentation on the environmental justice implications of cutting diesel pollution in communities of color. Climate Solutions’ Washington Deputy Policy Director Leah Missik moderated a panel discussion about decarbonizing freight transportation and presented about Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (which was affirmed by Washington voters who rejected Initiative 2117 at the ballot box). Finally, the BBC team was joined by consultants from the Electrification Coalition and Resource Innovation for a mini-Accelerator, designed to give attendees a taste of the immersive, cohort-based curriculum offered by the Breaking Barriers Collaborative’s Fleet Decarbonization Accelerator program.

The Breaking Barriers Collaborative’s Fleet Decarbonization Accelerator is a hands-on, cohort-based program that equips organizations with the knowledge, tools, and networks to adopt zero-emission fleet vehicles.

Enrollment is now open for the Winter 2025 Accelerator! Learn more and enroll today to participate in the 12-week series, which will run from the week of January 13th to the week of April 7th, 2025.
