The Climate Protection Program is back!

It’s official! Oregon renewed its commitment to address the climate crisis while helping to build a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient future for everyone. We did this together!

As the incoming Trump administration signals its plans to roll back environmental protections, Governor Kotek and our state agencies are stepping up to safeguard the health and well-being of Oregonians. The Climate Protection Program will help us tackle our biggest pollution sources, improve our air quality, and create more clean energy jobs and resilience for communities across the state.

I want to invite you to say thank you to Governor Kotek and the Environmental Quality Commissioners for defending our climate future and helping lead the nation on statewide climate action!

We are grateful for the incredible coalition effort over this past year to ensure these climate protections were put back in place without further delay and that program investments center our communities on the frontlines of climate change.

This vote sends a powerful message that Oregon will continue leading on climate action!
